When I go to update my profile settings, it shows there are several fields... supposedly. It has my username, which I don't think I can change, even if I wanted to, which I don't, there are three spots that claim to have fields there that are unlabeled and have no text box to fill in, a field for first name, one for last name, and one for website. The username, first name, and last name are marked as required. I fill in the three required and the website, hit save, and get the error message-
"Your changes have not been saved. Please fill in all required fields, and save your changes again."
I'm not sure what the other three are supposed to be, and the only three marked required are filled in, so I'm not sure what's going on. :/ I'd like to add my AO3 profile as my website.
Until the issue gets fixed, may I suggest linking to your AO3 on the Self-Promotion forum? You could also talk a bit about what sorts of fics you write.
@creativitytheemotion I may do that in the meantime, but I thought the site owners would also like to also have a heads up, since I know that when you're still building a website, sometimes little things get past you, and it helps when someone else can spot them for you. 🙂
But also, I like doing All The Things with my profiles on sites, and that field is RIGHT THERE and I can do nothing with it. *STARES AT IT*

There's literally nothing there, no text box or anything marking what they should've been, just text saying "this field is viewable" and the ability to choose to everyone or just yourself or whatever. I want to know what else I can be adding because All The Things!

@unoriginality All the things! My original plan was to add fields to note - what genres you like to write in, general location if you want, personal website, other sites where you post writing, that sort of thing.
Since our wordcount tracker unfortunately won't be done this year (It IS coming, just...it's apparently a much more complicated coding project), I'll turn one of those fields into a place to update your total wordcount.
And we are open to suggestions on other things you might want in your profile!
